Planned on an investment outlay of US $ 25 million, Neopharma has emerged as Abu Dhabi’s first state-of-the-art pharmaceutical facility. Neopharma plant is spread over an area of 100,000 m2. The facility encompasses two independent production blocks – one dedicated for the manufacture of general products and the other, an exclusive centre for manufacturing betalactam products. This diversification takes into consideration that betalactam products need special conditions for production and secondly, any risk of cross contamination is completely avoided.
